THE WORD at The Road & “Wound Care”

Thank you to Lannie Contreras Felán for this beyond groovy graphic!

I’m thrilled to be back at the Road Theatre with my new play “Wound Care” through THE WORD reading series on Monday, March 24th at 7:30pm!

It’s been a long and winding road (a wonderful one, actually – nods to the Playwrights Union, PlayGround and Company of Angels!) with this play, guided by director Jen Bloom and involving so many incredible actors.

I’m very lucky to be working with Jessica Jade Andres, Susan Vanita Diol and Emily Jerez this time around… such a gift.

They are amazing and I hope you’ll be able to join us at the Road as we share this play with a new audience!

So many thanks to Carlyle King, Tina Carlisi, Carlos Lacámara, Gloria Ines and all at The Road for making this happen.

Love these ladies and a hand for Zoom in pinch, please?

MORE ABOUT THE PLAY:

After meeting her troubled, recently deceased mother—who gave her up for adoption as an infant—Terra starts to navigate a little-known California State Compensation Program and runs into more of life’s surreal hurdles. “Wound Care” is, in part, a crack baby reparations play about searching for what will make things right and perhaps healing what you didn’t know was broken.
