First Peek of “Temporary Measures”

So excited that my new play “Temporary Measures: a play about legacy” will be included in the Playwrights Union FIRST PEEK 2023 May 20-21 at Atwater Village Theatre.

“Temporary Measures,” directed by Susan Vanita Diol, features incredible actors Kwana Martinez, Katherine Griffith, Brian M. Cole and Olamiju Obanikoro.

I hope you can join us on Sunday May 21st at 5pm; the reading is FREE (really informal, truly a “first peek” at a new, wet-behind-the-ears work!) and there’ll be a chance to eat and drink and chat outdoors following. (Masks required indoors.) Click Here to Reserve a Seathttps://pu-first-peek-2023.eventbrite.com/?aff=Webb

A bit about the play:

Angel is a woman at a crossroads. She’s moved in to be with her dying father for his final days, but those days keep extending and now there’s no end in sight. “Temporary Measures” is a dark comedy about legacy and the different shapes it can take when our journey is not straightforward.

The reading closes out the Series, with fab full-lengths by Jen Maisel, Victor Lesniewski & Deb Hiett.

Grateful to all of the artists who’ve been involved in this play since I started it at part of the PU New Play Challenge in February. And thank you, Lainnie Felan, for the fab graphic image!
